5K out and back course
Course description:
Starting from Kingwood Park High School, proceeding on the
greenbelts and returning to finish on the Kingwood Park High School track. Please
use caution when crossing streets and be courteous to the residents of the neighborhood.

Directions:
From I-59, exit North Park, continue East on North Park for approx.
three miles. Take a left on Woodland Hills Drive.

starts again at 6:30 AM on race morning at Kingwood Park High School- 4015 Woodland Hills
Drive. Kingwood, TX. Race day registration will be available - please print out an APPLICATION
to speed up the process. Weather:
Temperatures may vary from 60-75 degrees.

Time Limit:
This event is walker and velocity challenged participant
friendly.
T-shirts:
Each participant will receive a shirt. Register by November 10 to
guarantee shirt size.
Pre-race Announcements:
The costume contest will take place at 7:30 AM.
Race announcements and instructions will start at 7:45. The race starts at 8:00am
sharp.
Aid Stations:
There will be water available at the start/finish line and at the
1.5 mile turnaround. Toilets are located near the start/finish line.
Bag Drop:
There will be a drop bag location area near the starting line.
Awards:
First place overall male and female runners. Also "Best
Costume" in several categories to be selected before the race.
Post race:
Snacks, fruit, and drinks are available while you cheer on the other
runners as they finish.
Results:
Finishing results will be available on the website.
The Charity:
The net proceeds of this race will be donated to the
Kingwood Park Silver Star Drill Team.
