No Sweat (non competitive, non running, non walking, spectator event.  Participants may arrive at any time with your own chair to cheer on the runners.  Participants receive a t-shirt, a dog tag and a spot to place your comfy chair.  The ultimate activity for an arm-chair athlete. )

Course description:
The course starts at the Harris County Sheriff's Office Training Academy and runs a loop around Pam Lychner State Jail before returning to the academy. Stollers are permitted, however, we request participants with strollers move towards the back behind the walkers. Please use caution when crossing streets.

Packet pickup and race day registration:
Harris County Sheriff's Office Training Academy, 2316 Atascocita Rd., Humble, TX 77396 . Race day registration will be available starting at 6:30 AM. Please print out and complete an APPLICATION to speed up the process.

Time limit:
This event is walker and velocity challenged participant friendly. 

T-shirts:
Each participant will receive a shirt. Register by October18th to guarantee shirt size.  We will do our best to accomodate those who register afterwards.

Pre-race Announcements:
For the 5K race announcements and instructions will start at 7:45. The race starts at 8:00 AM sharp with a helicopter fly over.

Aid Stations:
There will be water available at the start/finish line and at each mile marker. Toilets are located near the start/finish line.

Bag Drop:
There will be a drop bag location area near the starting line.

Awards: 
Everyone receives a custom dog tag.  In addition, medals will be awarded three deep in five year age groups.

Post race:
Snack and drinks are available while you cheer on the other runners as they finish.

Results:
Finishing results will be available on the website.

The Charity:
The net proceeds of this race will be donated to assist our military veterans.
